ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A speech aid apparatus for laryngectomees, comprises a sound head with a hard membrane clamped therein, an electro- dynamic oscillator being connected with the sound head consist- ing of a magnet system with oscillator coil, a ram which act- ivates the hard membrane to oscillate, is fixed via a soft membrane at the housing of the oscillator, a generator part presenting the energy source as well as an operation switch is connectable mechanically or electrically with the oscillator via a bayonet fitting, the magnet system consists of a magnet arrangement with an axial polarized thin annular permanent magnet clamped between two rotation-symmetric, soft-magnetic pole rings, the upper one of which is formed pot-like in such a way that the ring slot of the magnet arrangement is opened downwards, and the oscillator coil projects into it, the ram connected with the oscillator coil is lead through a centric opening of the magnet arrangement; the apparatus has the advantage of being smaller in size whereby it may be-located unobtrusively at the neck of the user.
