COMBINED HYDRAULIC AND VACUUM BOOSTER Abstract A combined hydraulic and vacuum booster includes hydraulic and vacuum boosters coaxially mounted in series and having a common force output member. The combined booster includes common opera- ting means for energizing the boosters in sequence for first applying substantially the full force of the hydraulic booster to the output mem- ber while the vacuum booster is substantially inoperative, and then applying the force of the vacuum booster to the output member.
