ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention provides a composition having synergistic physiological activity which comprises a compound of the formula Image in which R3 represents radicals from known penicillins, and a compound of the formula Image in which each of R1 and R2 is an alkyl group or R1 and R2 together with the nitrogen atom represent a heterocyclic ring with from 5 to 7 carbon atoms in the ring. The mixtures are useful for the combatting of a broad-spectrum infection.
