ABSTRACT: A device for plasma-MIG welding, comprising a welding torch provided with a non-consumable electrode and a contact tube for the supply of a welding wire. The non- consumable electrode is connected to a first power supply source having a drooping characteristic, and the contact tube is connected to a second power supply source having a horizontal characteristic. According to the invention, the first power supply source is connected in series to the second power supply source, thus improving the stability of the plasma arc.
