A method for the removal and prevention of scale using a soap composition of a 1:1 stoichiometric ratio equivalent of an acid and a base. The acid, for example, is an organic carboxylic acid or a mineral acid. The base is an amine or ammonia. The organic acids consist of formic, acetic, propionic, citric, glycolic, lactic, tartaric, polyacrylic, succinic, sulfonic, gluconic, benzoic, salicyclic, and mixtures thereof. The mineral acids consist of hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric, polyphosphoric, hydrofluoric, boric, sulfuric, and sulfurous, and mixtures thereof.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'élimination et de prévention de dépôts de tartre utilisant une composition de savon d'un rapport stoechimétrique 1:1 équivalent d'un acide et d'une base. L'acide est, par exemple, un acide organique carboxylique ou un acide minéral. La base est une amine ou de l'ammoniac. On peut citer à titre d'acides organiques les acides formique, acétique, propionique, citrique, glycolique, lactique, tartarique, polyacrylique, succinique, sulfonique, gluconique, benzoïque, salicylique et des mélanges de ceux-ci. On peut citer à titre d'acides minéraux les acides chlorhydrique, nitrique, phosphorique, polyphosphorique, fluoridique, borique, sulfurique et sulfureux, ainsi que des mélanges de ceux-ci.
