ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE 1,2,3-thiadiazolin-2-ide derivatives useful in regulating the growth of plants. The compounds have the Formula I Image (I) in which R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group containing 5 to 8 carbon atoms, a phenyl group, a halophenyl group, a phenyl group substituted by an alkyl group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a phenyl group substituted by an alkoxy group containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, a nitrophenyl group, a trifluoromethyl- phenyl group, an unsubstituted pyridyl group or a pyridyl group substituted by one or more substituents selected from alkyl groups containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, alkoxy groups containing 1 to 4 carbon atoms, halogen atoms, a nitro group and a tri- fluoromethyl group, X represents an oxygen or sulphur atom and B represents an alkali metal atom or a monovalent equi- valent of a divalent metal.
