ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Novel compounds 1,2,6-thiadiazine-3,5-dione- 1,1-dioxides of the general formulae I and II: Image Image I II wherein R1 and R2, which may be the same or different, stand for alkyl, alkyl substituted by alkoxy, halogen, alkoxycarbonyl, or cycloalkyl, alkenyl, substituted cycloalkyl; R3 is alkyl, substituted alkyl, or alkenyl, or substituted cycloalkyl, and R4 and R5, which may be the same or different, stand for alkyl, substituted alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, substituted cycloalkyl, aryl, or substituted aryl have been found useful as accelerators in the preparation of polymers used in the preparation for the manufacture of temporary crowns and bridges in dental technology.
