Abstract of the Disclosure This application is directed to the preparation of a compound of the formula I Image I wherein R represents alkyl of from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or phenalkyl of from 7 to 9 carbon atoms, R1 represents hydrogen, alkoxy of from 1 to 3 carbon atoms or trifluoromethyl; R2 represents hydrogen, alkoxy of from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, Br, Cl or F and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof, in which a piperidine of the formula II II Image wherein R, R1 and R2 are as defined above, is oxidized; and to produce salts, the compounds may be reacted with a pharmaceutically acceptable acid.
