The present invention relates to ethyl (2S)-2-(naphthalene-1-sulfonylamino)-3- (4-(2-(1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidin-2- ylcarbamoyl)ethyl)benzoylamino)propionate hemifumarate of formula (I), and to a process for its preparation comprising react- ing 4-(2-(1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidin-2-ylcarbamoyl)ethyl)benzoic acid or a derivative thereof and ethyl (2S)-3-amino-2-(naphtha- lene-1-sulfonylamino)propionate. The compound of formula (I) is a valuable pharmaceutical which can be used, for example, in the treatment or prophylaxis of diseases which can be influenced by inhibiting the vitronectin receptor, in particular of bone diseases such as osteoporosis. The invention furthermore relates to chemical intermediates useful for the preparation of the compound of formula (I).
La présente invention concerne le composé éthyl(2S)-2-(naphtalène-1-sulfonylamino)-3-(4-(2-(1,4,5,6-tétrahydropyrimidin-2-ylcarbamoyl)éthyl)benzoylamino)propionate hémifumarate, un procédé et des intermédiaires permettant de le préparer et son utilisation en tant qu'agent pharmaceutique. L'invention porte sur le composé éthyl(2S)-2-(naphtalène-1-sulfonylamino)-3-(4-(2-(1,4,5,6-tétrahydropyrimidin-2-ylcarbamoyl)éthyl)benzoylamino)propionate hémifumarate de formule I et un procédé de préparation de ce dernier qui consiste à faire réagir du 4-(2-(1,4,5,6-tétrahydropyrimidin-2-ylcarbamoyl)éthyl)acide benzoïque ou un dérivé de ce dernier et de l'éthyl(2S)-3-amino-2-(naphtalène-1-sulfonylamino)propionate. Le composé de formule I est un composé pharmaceutique intéressant qui peut être utilisé, par exemple, dans le traitement ou la prophylaxie de maladies pouvant être modulées par l'inhibition du récepteur de vibronectine, en particulier les maladies osseuses telles que l'ostéoporose. Cette invention concerne également des intermédiaires chimiques utiles pour préparer le composé de formule I.
