27400-77 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to new 1,4-diazepines of the general formula Image (I) (II) in which R1, R2 and R3 are as defined in the deecription and A is a group of formula or Image Image a b in which R4 denotes a functional side chain of the general formula -Yn-?-<AA>m-R8 in which Y denotes a branched or unbranched alkyl group with n carbon atoms, <AA> denotes an amino acid group linked to the Yn-? group by a peptide bond and to the R8 group through the carboxyl group, and R8 denotes a branched or unbranched alkoxy or alkylthio group that is optionally substituted. The new compounds are intended for use for the treatment of pathological states and diseases in which PAF (platelet activating factor) is involved.
