ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to 1,4-dihydro-pyridines having different substituents in the 2- and 6- positions and described herein as being of the formula: Image (I) wherein R represents optionally substituted phenyl, R1 is alkyl, R2 and R4 are always different and each represents hydrogen, alkyl, benzyl or cyclohexylmethyl. Also included in the invention are methods for making said 1.4-dihydro-pryidines and compositions containing said 1,4-dihydro-pyridines, which are useful as circulation-influencing agents.
