ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides 1,4-dihydropyridines, their preparation and their use as antithrombotic drugs. The 1,4- dihydropyridines have the following general formula (I) Image (I) wherein, R represents hydrogen or a saturated alkyl group with a linear or branched chain of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R1 represents an alkyl group with a linear, or branched, saturated chain of 1 to 12 carbon atoms, or cyclic chain of 3-12 carbon atoms, or a 2-(N- salicylamido) ethyl group, and n is a number equal to 1 or 2, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. These 1,4- dihydropyridines are obtained by processes based on the Hantzch reaction or on modifications thereof.
