PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne des diacyloxy-1,8 acyl-10 anthrones, répondant à la formule générale (I): Image (I) dans laquelle: R1 et R2, identiques ou différents, repré- sentent un radical alkyle, linéaire ou ramifié, ayant de 1 à 15 atomes de carbone, un radical cycloalkyle de 3 à 6 atomes de carbone, un radical furyl-2 ou -3, un radical pyridyl-3 ou-4, un radical thiényl-Z ou un radical aromatique de formule (II): Image (II) dans laquelle: X, Y et Z, identiques ou différents, repré- sentent un atome d'hydrogène, un radical alkyle ayant de 1 à 3 atomes de carbone, un radical trifluorométhyle, un radi- cal alkoxy ayant de 1 à 4 atomes de carbone, un halogène, une fonction nitro ou une fonction hydroxyle. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de ces composés. Ces composés sont utiles en thérapeutique humaine ou vétéri- naire en tant qu'agents anti-prolifératifs et anti-inflamma- toires et en cosmétique en tant qu'agents anti-acnéiques, anti- pelliculaires, anti-séborrhéiques et anti-chute des cheveux.
