ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a process for preparing compounds of the general formula: Image wherein n is 4, 5 or 6, which comprises subjecting a cyclic sulphonyloxyimide of the formula: Image wherein R2 is an acyclic or cyclic lower aliphatic radicals of 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or an aryl radical, and n is 4, 5 or 6, to the Lossen rearrangement. These compounds exhibit hypothermal and, in some cases, narcosis potentiating or sedating properties.
