The aim of the invention is the discovery and investigation of novel chemical entities of a non-proteinogenic structure which have a matrix- metalloproteinase(MMP)-inhibiting effect. Said aim is achieved by means of the synthesis of dimercaptoalkyl-substituted quinazolin-2,4(1H,3H)-diones. Compounds of the above substance class display an unexpectedly clear and hence pharmacologically interesting MMP-inhibiting effect.
L'invention a pour objet la mise au point et l'analyse de nouvelles substances chimiques à structure non protéinogène qui ont une action d'inhibition sur la métalloprotéinase matricielle (MMP), grâce à la synthèse de chinazoline-2,4(1H,3H)-diones substituées par dimercaptoalkyle. Des composés de ce type ont de manière surprenante une nette action d'inhibition de MMP qui s'avère intéressante d'un point de vue pharmacologique.
