ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE 1-(Azol-1-yl)-2-substituted-alken-3-ones of the formula Image in which R1 represents alkyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulphonyl, alkylcarbonyl, optionally substituted phenyl, optionally substituted phenoxy, optionally substituted phenylthio, optionally substituted phenylsulphonyl or optionally substituted phenyl carbonyl, R2 represents alkyl, cycloalkyl or optionally substituted phenyl and Y represents a nitrogen atom or the CH group. The new compounds are useful as fungicides, particularly for plant protection uses.
