The invention relates to novel 1,6-disubstituted pyrazolopyrimidinones, Formula (I) with is a mono-, bi- or tri-cyclic heterocyclyl group, the ring members of which are carbon atoms and at least 1, preferably 1, 2 or 3, heteroatom(s), which are selected from the group of nitrogen, oxygen and sulphur, which is in the form of -S(O)r - with r being 0, 1 or 2, and - said hete-rocyclyl group is or comprises 1 non-aromatic, saturated, or partly unsaturated monocyclic ring which comprises at least 1 het-eroatom as ring member and - said heterocyclyl group is bound to the scaffold by said 1 non- aromatic, saturated, or partly unsatu-rated monocyclic ring which comprises at least 1 heteroatom as ring member. According to one aspect of the invention the new compounds are for the manufacture of medicaments, in particular medicaments for the treatment of conditions concerning deficits in perception, concentration, learning or memory. The new compounds are also for the manufacture of medicaments for the treat-ment of Alzheimer's disease.

Cette invention concerne de nouvelles pyrazolopyrimidinones 1,6-disubstituées, de Formule (I), Hc étant un groupe hétérocyclyle mono-, bi- ou tricyclique, dont les éléments de cycle sont des atomes de carbone et au moins 1, de préférence, 1, 2 ou 3, hétéroatomes, qui sont choisis dans le groupe de l'azote, de l'oxygène et du soufre. Ledit groupe hétérocyclyle est sous la forme de -S(O)r - r valant 0, 1 ou 2, et est ou comprend 1 cycle monocyclique non aromatique, saturé, ou partiellement insaturé qui comprend au moins 1 hétéroatome à titre d'élément de cycle et ledit groupe hétérocyclyle est lié à l'échafaudage par ledit 1 cycle monocyclique non aromatique, saturé, ou partiellement insaturé qui comprend au moins 1 hétéroatome à titre d'élément de cycle. Selon un aspect de l'invention, les nouveaux composés sont utilisés pour fabriquer des médicaments, en particulier, des médicaments destinés à traiter des états pathologiques concernant des déficits de perception, de concentration, d'apprentissage ou de mémoire. Les nouveaux composés sont également utilisés pour fabriquer des médicaments destinés à traiter la maladie d'Alzheimer.
