ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE: The present invention relates to novel 1-position aminoderivatives of 1-(3,4-methylendioxiphenyl)propan-2-ol having general formula I: Image wherein R1 and R2 are hydrogen, alkyl having 1 to 2 carbon atoms, cycloalkyl having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, or benzyl, provided R1 and R2 cannot be both hydrogen, cycloalkyl or benzyl simultaneously, or else, R1 and R2 form in combina- tion with the nitrogen atom to which they are attached a ring with 5 to 7 bonds, which may consist of another hetero- atom selected from oxygen or nitrogen being substituted with benzyl, or such a ring may be substituted with hydroxyl, as well as their non-toxic addition salts (pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts). A process for the production of these compounds is also pro- vided. The compounds or useful as analgesics.
