ABSTRACT Compounds of the formula Image I wherein Ar is a phenyl group or a phenyl group substituted by one or more members of the group consisting of halogen atoms or lower alkyl, halolower alkyl, hydroxy or lower alkoxy groups, "lower" indicating groups having from 1 to 5 carbon atoms; m is zero or 1, n is 2 or 3; and their dehydro derivatives having a double bond in the azacyclic ring extending from the carbon atom having the Ar substituent; and the pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salts thereof; have analgesic properties. Processes for their preparation and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are also claimed.
