New 15,15-dialkyl-substituted derivatives of the estradiol of general formula (I), in which R1 and R2, independently of one another, are each a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain alkanoyl group with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, a branched-chain alkanoyl group with 3-10 carbon atoms, an alkanoyl group of 3-10 carbon atoms containing a cycloaliphatic structure of 3-6 carbon ring atoms or a benzoyl group and R3 and R4, independently of one another, are each a straight-chain alkyl group with 1 to 10 carbon atoms, or a branched-chain alkyl group with 3 to 10 carbon atoms, are described, a process for their production and initial products for this process. The new compounds have -- also after oral administration -- high estrogenic effectiveness and are suitable for the production of pharmaceutical agents.

Nouveaux dérivés substitués par 15,15-dialkyle de l'estradiol répondant à la formule générale (I), dans laquelle R<1> et R<2>, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, représentent un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alcanoyle à chaîne droite ayant 1 à 10 atomes de carbone, un groupe alcanoyle à chaîne ramifiée ayant 3 à 10 atomes de carbone, un groupe alcanoyle ayant 3 à 10 atomes de carbone et contenant une structure cycloaliphatique ayant 3 à 6 atomes de carbone en cycle, ou un groupe benzoyle; et R<3> et R<4>, indépendamment l'un de l'autre, représentent un groupe alkyle à chaîne droite ayant 1 à 10 atomes de carbone, ou un groupe alkyle à chaîne ramifiée ayant 3 à 10 atomes de carbone; leur procédé de production et produits initiaux pour ce procédé. Les nouveaux composés présentent, même après l'administration par voie orale, une efficacité oestrogénique élevée, et ils sont utilisables dans la production d'agents pharmaceutiques.
