A B S T R A C T Compounds of formula I Image I wherein R2 and R3 are the same or different and each represent unsubsti- tuted or substituted acyl, and a) R1 represents lower alkyl, aralkyl or the phosphate, pyro- phosphate, phosphorylethanolamine or pyrophosphorylethanolamine group, R4 represents the phosphate, pyrophosphate, phosphoryl- ethanolamine or pyrophosphorylethanolamine group and one of R1 and R4 may additionally represent hydrogen and R5 represents hydrogen or a glycosyl radical or b) R1 represents hydrogen, lower alkyl or aralkyl and R4 and R5 represent hydrogen, which compounds are indicated for use as pharmaceuticals, in particular as immunostimulants.
