A composition containing an effective amount of a herbicide and an aqueous ammoniacal ionic solution of metal alkanoates is disclosed. Alkanoates having from 2 to 6 carbon atoms are preferred, with acetates most preferred. Metals selected from the group consisting of boron, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, molybdenum, potassium, sodium and zinc are preferred, with zinc particularly preferred. Both broadleaf and grass herbicides are preferred, with herbicides having an active ingredient selected from the group consisting of quizylofop, sodium salt of bentazon, sodium salt of acifluorfen, chlorimuron ethyl, lactofen, fluazifop-p-butyl, fenoxaprop-ethyl, methyl 3-[[[ [4-methoxy-6-methyl-1,3,5-triazin-2- yl]amino]carbonyl] amino]sulfony]2-thiophenecarboxylate, 2-[1- ethoxyimon]butyl]- 5-[2-[ethylthio]propyl]-3-hydroxy-2-cyclohexene-1-one, and ammonium salt of imazethapyre. The composition of the present invention is applied postemergence to crops using conventional broadcast spray techniques.
L'invention concerne une composition contenant une dose efficace d'un herbicide et d'une solution ionique ammoniacale aqueuse d'alcanoates de métal. Les alcanoates ayant 2 à 6 atomes de carbones sont préférés, les acétates étant idéaux. Les métaux choisis dans le groupe constitué de bore, calcium, cuivre, fer, magnésium, manganèse, molybdène, potassium, sodium et zinc sont préférés, le zinc étant idéal. Les anti-graminées et anti-dicotylédones sont préférés, les herbicides comprenant un principe actif choisi dans le groupe constitué de quizalofop, de sel sodique de bentazone, de sel sodique d'acifluorfène, d'éthyle de chlorimurone, de lactofène, fluazifop-p-butyle, fénoxaprop-éthyle, méthyle 3-[[[[4-méthoxy-6-méthyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-y]amino]carbonyl]amino]sulfonyle]2- thiophènecarboxylate, 2[1-éthoxymone]butyle]-5-[2[éthylthio]propyl]-3-hydroxy-2-cyclohexène-1-one, de sel d'ammonium d'imazéthapyre. la composition de l'invention s'utilise sur les cultures en traitement de post-levée, au moyen de techniques de pulvérisation d'ensemble classiques.
