ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to new 2,4-dichlorophenylimidazolyl- ethan-ones- and -ols useful as antimycotic agents, especially as medica- ments. The new compounds correspond to the formula: Image (I) in which A is a keto group or a CH(OH) group, X is halogen, straight-chain or branched alkyl with 1 to 4 carbon atoms or phenyl optionally substituted by halogen, preferably chlorine, and n is an integer from 0 to 3, prefer- ably from 0 to 2.
