PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION : La présente invention concerne de nouveaux dihydroxy- 2,4 diphénylamines de formule (I) : Image (I) et leurs sels d'acide correspondants, formule dans laquelle les substituants R1 et R2 constituent avec l'atome d'azote, auquel ils sont reliés, un hétérocycle morpholino ou pipéridino, auquel cas le radical R représente un atome d'hydrogène, ou dans laquelle R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène, auquel cas R2 est un radical furfuryl ou méthoxyéthyl, R représentant un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical méthyl. Ces diphénylamines sont utilisables comme précurseurs de colorants en teinture d'oxydation de fibres kératiniques et notamment de cheveux humains.
