ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE Benzothiazole compounds are disclosed having the formula: Image (I) in which R1, R3 and R4 each represents hydrogen or a substituent, R2O is an ester or amide group and -NR5R6 is an amino group. The compounds (I) are effective in inhibiting the production of leukotriene. The compounds (I) are useful against allergy, asthma, infections of the skin, allergic rhinitis and infections of the cardiovascular system.
