ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to novel 2,6-disubstituted-2-phenylimino- imidazolidines of the formula: Image their acid addition salts and processes for their preparation. The novel compounds possess good blood pressure decreasing activity and are potential- ly of use in the treatment of various forms of hypertonia. Processes for the production of the novel compounds are described and examples of certain of the novel compounds are given. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the novel compounds are described and exemplified.
