A B S T R A C T "2-AMINO-1,2,3,4-TETRAHYDRONAPHTHALENE DERIVATIVES" New 2-amino-1,2,3,4 tetrahydronaphthalene derivatives of the general formula: Image wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkanoyl group containing from 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R2 and R3 each represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C4 alkyl group, and R4 represents a hydroxy or methoxy group in the 6-position or 7-position, have been found to be useful in therapy, and more particularly in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases and Parkinson's disease. Processes for the preparation of the compounds are described and claimed.
