Abstract of the Disclosure (2'-Amino-2'-deoxypentofuranosyl) guanine is disclosed which is a novel guanosine analogue having excellant physiologi- cal activity, including anti-cancer activity. A process for producing the novel compound by fermentation in a culture medium in the presence of a strain of microorganisms belonging to the genus Aerobacter is also disclosed.
