Compounds which are 2-amino-1,3-thiazole derivatives of formula (I) wherein R is a halogen atom, a nitro group, an optionally substituted amino group or it is a group, optionally further substituted, selected from i) straight or branched C1-C8 alkyl, C2-C6 alkenyl or C2-C6 alkynyl; ii) C3-C6 cycloalkyl; iii) aryl or arylalkyl with from 1 to 8 carbon atoms within the straight or branched alkyl chain; R1 is an optionally substituted group selected from: i) straight or branched C1-C8 alkyl or C2-C6 alkenyl; ii) 3 to 6 membered carbocycle or 5 to 7 membered heterocycle ring; iii) aryl or arylcarbonyl; iv) arylalkyl with from 1 to 8 carbon atoms within the straight or branched alkyl chain; v) arylalkenyl with from 2 to 6 carbon atoms within the straight or branched alkenyl chain; vi) an optionally protected amino acid residue; or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; are useful for treating cell proliferative disorders associated with an altered cell dependent kinase activity.

L'invention se rapporte à des composés qui sont des dérivés 2-amino-1,3-thiazole représentés par la formule (I) dans laquelle R est un atome halogène, un groupe nitro, un groupe amino éventuellement substitué ou est un groupe, également éventuellement substitué, sélectionné parmi i) alkynyle C¿2?-C¿6?, alcényle C¿2?-C¿6? ou alkyle C¿1?-C¿8? linéaire ou ramifié; ii) cycloalkyle C¿3?-C¿6?; iii) aryle ou arylalkyle avec 1 à 8 atomes de carbone dans la chaîne alkyle linéaire ou ramifiée; R¿1? est un groupe éventuellement substitué sélectionné parmi: i) alkyle C¿1?-C¿8? linéaire ou ramifié ou alcényle C¿2?-C¿6?; ii) un noyau carbocycle comportant 3 à 6 éléments ou hétérocycle comportant 5 à 7 éléments; iii) aryle ou arylcarbonyle; iv) arylalkyle comportant de 1 à 8 atomes de carbone dans la chaîne alkyle linéaire ou ramifiée; v) arylalcényle comportant 2 à 6 atomes de carbone dans la chaîne alcényle linéaire ou ramifiée; vi) un reste d'acide aminé éventuellement protégé. L'invention se rapporte également aux sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ces composés qui sont utiles pour le traitement des troubles prolifératifs cellulaires associés à une activité modifiée des kinases dépendants de cellules.
