Abstract of the Disclosure (IR 2883) Compounds are provided of the following general structure: Image wherein R1, R2 and R3 are independently selected from hydrogen or methyl; A is amino, C1-C4 monoalkylamino, C2-C8 dialkylamino, 1-pyrrolidinyl, 1-piperidinyl, 4-morpholinyl or cyclopropylamino; and where W and Q are independently selected from 2-pyridinyl, 3-pyridinyl or 4-pyridinyl or phenyl, provided W and Q are not both phenyl. These compounds possess useful sedative, analgesic, and antiepileptic activity.
