The present invention relates to therapeutically active 2-aminoindane analogs of formula (I). Also provided is a method of preparing compounds of formula (I), and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the compounds. The novel compounds act as modulators of metabotropic glutamate receptors and, as such, are useful in treating diseases of the central nervous system related to the metabotropic glutamate receptor system.

L'invention concerne des analogues de 2-aminoindane actifs sur le plan thérapeutique et représentés par la formule (I). Elle concerne également un procédé de préparation de ces composés de formule (I), ainsi que des compositions pharmaceutiques contenant ces composés. Ces nouveaux composés jouent un rôle de modulateur des récepteurs métabotropiques de glutamate et, de ce fait, sont utiles pour traiter des maladies du système nerveux central apparentées au système des récepteurs métabotropiques de glutamate.
