Novel 1R or 1S 2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane derivatives of general formula (I) or (I'), wherein R is a hydrogen atom or a radical of formula (II) or (II') respectively, where R1 is an alkyl radical containing 1-4 carbon atoms and Ar is an optionally substituted phenyl or alpha - or beta -naphthyl radical, and preparation and application thereof. The novel products of general formula (I) are particularly useful for preparing adenosine agonists.

Nouveaux dérivés du 2-azabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane 1R ou 1S de formule générale (I) ou (I'), leur préparation et leur application. Dans les formules générales (I) et (I'), R représente un atome d'hydrogène ou respectivement un radical de formule (II) ou (II') dans lesquelles R1 représente un radical alcoyle contenant 1 à 4 atomes de carbone et Ar représente un radical phényle ou .alpha.- ou .beta.-naphtyle éventuellement substitué. Les nouveaux produits de formule générale (I) sont particulièrement utiles pour préparer des agonistes d'adénosine.
