A B S T R A C T 2-Cyano-3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hexane may be prepared by reacting 3-azabicyclo[3.1.0]hex-2-ene or the trimer thereof with an alkali metal bisulphite to form its bisulphite adduct, and treating said adduct with an alkali metal cyanide.
