ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention ralates to 2-(perhydro-1,4- diazine)-pyrimido[5,4,d]pyrimidines and the salts thereof. The compounds possess an antithrombotic activity and an inhibiting effect on the aggregation of metastases in the blood stream. The compounds of the invention are thus of interest in the prophylaxis and treatment of thrombo- embolic disorders such as coronary infarcts, cerebral infarsts, transient ischaemic attacks and amaurosis fugax as well as arteriosclerosis. Pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds of the invention as active ingredient and processes for the preparation of the novel compounds are described and exemplified.
