A B S T R A C T Fungicidal compositions comprising a carrier, or a surface-active agent or both a carrier and a surface- active agent, and as active ingredient, at least one 3-pyridyl isoxazolidine of the general formula: Image . wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, alkenyl or alkoxy group; R2 represents a hydrogen atom or a cyano, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl, acyloxy, amido phenyl sulphonyl, aryl thio, or optionally substituted amino, alkyl or aryl group; R3 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R4 represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl, alkoxycarbonyl, cyano, nitro, acyl or phenylsulphonyl group; or R1 and R3 jointly form a carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring system; X represents a halogen atom, nitro or cyano group or optionally substituted alkyl, alkoxy or aryl group; and n represents 0, 1, 2 or 3.
