2-Phenylpyran-4-one derivatives of formula (I), wherein R1 represents an alkyl or -NR4R5 group, wherein R4 and R5 each independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; R2 represents an alkyl, C3-C7 cycloalkyl, pyridyl, thienyl, naphthyl, tetrahydronaphthyl or indanyl group, or a phenyl group which may be unsubstituted or substituted by one or more halogen atoms or alkyl, trifluoromethyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, methylthio, amino, mono- or dialkylamino, hydroxyalkyl or hydroxycarbonyl groups; R3 represents a methyl, hydroxymethyl, alkoxymethyl, C3-C7 cycloalkoxymethyl, benzyloxymethyl, hydroxycarbonyl, nitrile, trifluoromethyl or difluoromethyl group or a CH2-R6 group wherein R6 represents an alkyl group; and X represents a single bond, an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom or a methylene group; or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, processes for their production and synthetic intermediates used in said processes, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in medical treatment.

L'invention concerne des dérivés de 2-phenylpyran-4-one de formule (I) dans laquelle R<1> représente un groupe alkyle ou R<4>R<5>, R<4> et R<5> représentant chacun de manière indépendante un atome d'hydrogène ou un groupe alkyle. R<2> représente un groupe alkyle, C3-C7 cycloalkyle, pyridyle, thiényle, naphtyle, tétrahydronaphtyle ou indanyle, ou un groupe phényle qui peut être non susbstitué ou substitué par au moins un atome d'halogène ou groupe alkyle, trifluorométhyle, hydroxy, alcoxy, méthylthio, amino, mono- ou dialkylamino, hydroxyalkyle ou hydroxycarbonyle. R<3> représente un groupe méthyle, hydroxyméthyle, alcoxyméthyle, C3-C7 cycloalcoxyméthyle, benzyloxyméthyle, hydroxycarbonyle, nitrile, trifluorométhyle ou difluorométhyle, ou un groupe CH2-R<6>, où R<6> représente un groupe alkyle; et X représente une liaison simple, un atome d'oxygène, un atome de soufre ou un groupe méthylène ; ou des sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables desdits dérivés, des procédés destinés à les produire et des intermédiaires synthétiques utilisés dans lesdits procédés, des compositions pharmaceutiques les contenant, ainsi que leur emploi en traitement médical.
