The present invention relates to 2-Pyridinone derivatives, more specifically 5- ethyl-6-methyl-2-pyridinone derivatives, according to general formula I that inhibit human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) replication and are therefore of interest in the treatment of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The present invention further relates to the synthesis of said compounds and their use, with or without other pharmaceutical agents, in the treatment of AIDS and viral infections by HIV-1.
La présente invention concerne des dérivés de 2-pyridinone, plus spécifiquement des dérivés de 5-éthyl-6-méthyl-2-pyridinone, selon le formule générale (I) inhibant la réplication du virus de l'immunodéficience humaine de type 1 (VIH-1) lesquels sont par conséquent utiles dans le traitement du syndrome d'immunodéficience acquise (SIDA). La présente invention concerne également la synthèse desdits composés ainsi que leur utilisation, avec ou sans autres agents pharmaceutiques, dans le traitement du SIDA et d'infections virales à VIH-1.
