PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: La présente invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés du (pyridyl-2)-2 tétrahydrothiophène de formule générale Image (I) dans laquelle R est un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical alcoyle de 1 ? 4 carbones et R1 et R2, identiques ou différents, repré- sentent un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical alcoyle de 1 à 15 carbones éventuellement substitué par un radical hydroxy, dialcoylamino dont les parties alcoyles contiennent de 1 à 4 carbones ou phényle ou bien R1 et R2 forment ensemble un hete- rocycle à 6 chaînons contenant ou non un autre hétéroatome tel qu'oxygène ou azote éventuellement substitue par un radical alcoyle contenant 1 à 4 carbones. L'invention à également pour objet les sels desdits dérives, lorsqu'ils existent, leur préparation et les médicaments qui les contiennent. Les nouveaux dérivés sont utiles notamment comme anti-ulcères.
