This is a reserve electrical power device that switches automatically from main grid power to back up 24 V DC battery power when the main grid power is not available. The battery power is then converted into 240 V, 60 Hz, AC and/or 120 V, 60 Hz, AC. This back up power device can be used for artesian wells pumps, sump pumps, fans, oil furnaces, refrigerators, freezers etc. The duration of the backup power is determined by the amount of amperes consumed and by the length of time that the amperes are drawn from the backup supply. When the main grid power supply becomes available again, the device automatically switches back to main grid mode. When the device returns to main grid mode, the incorporated chargers will recondition the batteries back to optimum voltage.
