Described is 3-(2-bornyloxy)-2-methyl-1-propanol defined according to the chemical structure: (see fig. I) and organoleptic uses thereof in augmenting or enhancing the aroma of perfume compositions, colognes and perfumed articles including but not limited to solid or liquid anionic, cationic, nonionic or zwitterionic detergents, fabric softener compositions, fabric softener articles, perfumed polymers, cosmetic powders and hair preparations.

I) et les utilisations organoleptiques de ce dernier pour augmenter ou rehausser les arômes des compositions de parfum, des eaux de Colognes et des articles parfumés comprenant, sans toutefois s'y limiter, les détergents solides ou liquides anioniques, cationiques, non ioniques ou zwittérioniques, les compositions d'assouplissant de tissu, les produits d'assouplissant de tissu, les polymères parfumés, les poudres cosmétiques et les préparations capillaires.
