Title BP-6303-A 3,3-DISUBSTITUTED INDOLINES Abstract of the Disclosure Cognitive deficiencies and/or neurological function deficits and/or mood and/or mental disturbances are treated by the administration of 3,3-disubtituted indolines. The indolines have the formula: Image ( I ) wherein: p is O or 1: Z is O or S; R is Cl-C10 alkyl, C3-C8 cycloalkyl, 2-pyridyl, 3-pyridyl, 4-pyridyl or Image V, W, X, and Y independently are H, halo. Cl-C3 alkyl, OR1, N02, CF3, CN or NR1R2; Rl and R2 independently are H or Cl-C3 alkyl; - ? and - ? independently are 6-membered heterocyclic aromatic rings containing at least one nitrogen atom as a part of the ring optionally substituted with one substituent selected from the group Cl-C3 alkyl, halo, ORl or NRlR2; or an N-oxide or pharmaceutically suitable acid addition salt thereof. 3628g
