ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE 3-amino-3-carbamoyloxyalkylacrylic acid deriva- tives represented by the general formula: Image (II) which are intermediates in the preparation of 2-carbamoyloxy- alkyl-1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives represented by the general formula: Image (I) In the above formula R1 is halogen, cyano, nitro, hydroxyl, di-lower alkyl substituted amino or lower alkoxy, each of R2 and R3 is lower alkyl, haloalkyl, lower alkenyl, lower alkynyl, aralkyl, aryl, hydroxyalkyl, lower alkoxy- alkyl, lower alkenyloxyalkyl, aralkyloxyalkyl, aryloxyalkyl or Image (where B is straight-chained or branched alky- lene, and each of R7 and R8 is lower alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, or R7 and R8 form, together with the adjacent nitrogen atom, a heterocyclic group), R4 is hydrogen or lower alkyl, halo- alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl or aryl, or R5 and R6 form, together with the adjacent nitrogen atom, a hetero- cyclic group.
