The present invention relates to compounds of formula (I) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or prodrug thereof, wherein R1 is an optionally substituted 5- or 6-membered aromatic heterocyclic group containing 1,2,3 or 4 heteroatoms selected from nitrogen, oxygen and sulphur; R2 and R4 represent a variety of substituents; R3 is H or C1-6alkyl; R5 is H, halogen, C1-6alkyl, C1-6alkoxy substituted by C1-4alkoxy or CF3; R6a is H or C1-6alkyl; R6b is C1-6alkyl optionally substituted by a hydroxy group or the group - CO2Rc, where Rc is C1-6alkyl; R9 is halogen, C1-6alkyl, oxo, CO2Ra or CONRaRb; m is zero or 1; n is 1 or 2; and q is zero, 1 or 2. The compounds are of particular use in the treatment or prevention of pain, inflammation, migraine, emesis and postherpetic neuralgia.
