ABSTRACT [3-(C16-C18)-alkanesulphinyl- and sul- phony-2-methoxymethylpropyl]-(2-trimethylammonio- ethyl) phosphates of the general formula: (I) Image in which n is 1 or 2 and R is a straight-chained, saturated al]cyl radical containing 16 to 18 carbon atoms, the stereoisomers thereof, and the pharmacol- ogically compatible, pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and pharmaceutical compositions containing them, may be used to treat tumors.
