Abstract of the Disclosure Novel 3-cyanamino-2,6-dinitroanilines are described herein. The compounds are prepared by reacting the corresponding 3-chloro-2,6-dinitroanilines with cy- anamid and a strong base. The compounds exhibit fungi- cidal activity against Plasmopara viticola, the causative agent of grape downy mildew.
