Abstract 3-L-(5-THIOXO-L-PROLYL)THIAZOLIDINE-4-CARBOXYLIC ACID AND DERIVATIVES THEREFROM, PROCESSES FOR THE PREPARA- TION THEREOF AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING THEM 3-L-(5-thioxo-L-prolyl)thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid and the derivatives thereof have valuable immunostimu- lating, antioxidant, antiradical and antiageing proper- ties. They are prepared by thionating the corresponding 3-L-pyroglutamyl-L-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid deri- vatives or by condensing 5-thioxo-L-proline with the corresponding L-thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid deriva- tives.
