1-(3-methoxybenzyl)-3-substituted thiourea antioxidant compounds and improved lipids compositions which are supplemented with amounts of such antioxidant compounds effective for augmenting oxidative stability of the base lipid are provided. Also provided are methods for enhancing the oxidative stability of a lipid comprising supplementing a base lipid in need of enhanced oxidative stability with at least one 1-(3-methoxybenzyl)-3-substituted thiourea compound of the present invention.
L'invention se rapporte à des composés antioxydants de thiourée 1-(3-méthoxybenzyl)-3-substituée et à des compositions lipidiques perfectionnées qui sont additionnées de quantités de ces composés antioxydants, efficaces pour accroître la stabilité face à l'oxydation du lipide de base. L'invention se rapporte également à des procédés d'amélioration de la stabilité face à l'oxydation d'un lipide, qui consistent à ajouter, à un lipide de base ayant besoin d'une stabilité face à l'oxydation renforcée, au moins un composé de thiourée 1-(3-méthoxybenzyl)-3-substituée mentionné ci-dessus.
