23233-255 ABSTRACT The invention relates to novel substituted 3-amino- sydnone imines of the general formula I Image (I) in which R1 denotes (C1-C4)-alkyl, di-(C1-C4)-alkylamino or (C6-C12)-aryl, which may be substituted by (C1-C4)-alkyl; R2 denotes hydrogen or COR3 and R3 denotes (C1-C4)-alkyl, (C1-C4)- alkoxy, (C1-C4)-alkoxy-(C1-C4)-alkyl, acetoxy(C1-C4)alky1, (C6-C12)-aryl, which aryl may be substituted by (C1-C4)-alkyl or (C1-C4)-alkoxy, or R3 represents pyridyl, pyridyl(C1-C4)-alkyl or (C3-C8)-cycloalkyl. The compounds possess useful pharma- cological properties. They lower the blood pressure, the pulmonary artery pressure and the left ventricular end-diastolic pressure and also exhibit antithrombotic effects. In view of their pro- nounced action on the cardiovascular system they are useful for the control and prevention of cardiovascular diseases.
