The invention concerns the use of a 3-substituted para-aminophenol of formula (I) as an oxidation dye precursor for dyeing keratinous fibres such as human hair, wherein R1 is alkyl, alkenyl, mono- or polyhydroxyalkyl, nitrile, cyanoalkyl, halogenoalkyl, aminoalkyl, alkoxyalkyl, and R2 is hydrogen, alkyl, mono- ou polyhydroxyalkyl, provided that when R2 is hydrogen, R1 is not methyl ou trifluoromethyl; or one of its acid addition salts. Tinctorial compositions containing the compound of formula (I) are also provided. The invention also concerns novel 3-substituted para-aminophenols.
L'invention est relative à l'utilisation pour la teinture des fibres kératiniques, et en particulier des cheveux humains, à titre de précurseur de colorant d'oxydation, d'un para-aminophénol 3-substitué de formule (I), où R1 désigne alkyle, alcényle, mono- ou polyhydroxyalkyle, nitrile, cyanoalkyle, halogénoalkyle, aminoalkyle, et R2 désigne hydrogène, alkyle, mono- ou polyhydroxyalkyle, sous réserve que lorsque R2 est hydrogène, R1 ne soit pas méthyle ou trifluorométhyle, ou de l'un de ses sels d'addition avec un acide, et aux compositions tinctoriales contenant le composé (I). L'invention concerne également de nouveaux para-aminophénols 3-substitués.
