3-(Ureidocyclohexylamino)-propane-1,2-diol-derivatives Abstract of the disclosure The invention concerns antihypertensive and cardiocative compounds of the formula I (I) Image wherein Ar represents a (monocyclic or optionally partially hydrogen- ated bicyclic) carbocyclic or heterocyclic optionally substituted aromatic radical; R represents hydrogen, alkanoyl or aroyl; R1 and R2 represent independently hydrogen or lower alkyl; or R1 and R2 combined represent alkylene of 2 to 7 carbon atoms separating the two nitrogen atoms thereto attached by 2 to 4 carbon atoms; R3 and R4 independently are hydrogen or lower alkyl; and X represents oxo (O), or thio (S); and salts thereof. They are prepared, for example, by reducing a compound corresponding to the formula I, in which instead of the 1,4-cyclohexylene radical is a 1,4-phenylene radical.
